I love Thanksgiving time especially this year. I was so bummed out last year because I was pregnant during this time and really sick so I didn't get to enjoy it. This year I was prepared to take full advantage of feeling great and chowing down on some GREAT food. We went to my parents house and had most of my family there to celebrate and we had our good friends Bjorn and Natalie Olsen and their super cute daughter Karsten there with us too. It was good food, good company and great weather. We stayed late and got into the spa at night when all the babies were asleep. I perfect way to cap off the night. Because it was thanksgiving I wanted to share what I am thankful for. I am so thankful for my wonderful family and my new beautiful daughter who I love more and more everyday, she is my everything. I am thankful for my loving husband who is my best friend and is always there for me. I am thankful so such a wonderful family and wonderful in-laws who I miss. Most of all I am thankful for the wonderful gospel in my life and for my Heavenly Father who I know loves me. I truly have a blessed life. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!! ♥

I can't believe that my baby turned 4 months old on the 25th. People always told me that time went by so fast and I did not believe them. Well it is true, time is going by so fast!!! I love spending time with my little girl she is just amazing to me. I love staring at her big blue eyes and listening to her starting to "talk" she just melts my heart when I walk in the room and she turns and sees me and just gives me the biggest smile ever. She is such a good girl and so much fun. She loves looking at books when we read to her and she always laughs when daddy does funny faces to her. I am excited that she is learning so many new things but I already feel like my little baby is getting so big. I love you Cali Gail you are everything to your mommy!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Even though Cali is very young..okay only 3 and a half months old I was still so excited to do everything with her even though she won't remember it. So now that all the holidays are coming up I want to do so much fun activities with her. So since Halloween and Thanksgiving are getting close Todd and I took her to a pumpkin patch. We had so much fun...we got her a little baby one and Todd and I got medium size ones. We will post pictures later on how we decide to carve them. I still don't know what to dress Cali up for Halloween..I take all suggestions.

Catch Up

So I wanted to do a little catch up on what has been going on around here and how little Miss. Cali was doing. She is still an amazing baby and is really starting to sleep through the night which mommy just loves. She goes to bed around 9 at night and doesn't wake up till 5 and then goes right back to sleep till about 8. What a great baby she is :-)...She is able to keep her head up and look around at everything. I love when she hears my voice and keeps moving her head till she finds mommy and then gives me the biggest smile ever. We for sure have a mommy's girl on our hands here which I don't mind at all. She is starting to "talk" a lot to us these days and giggle. She loves to give daddy the stink eye when he is giving her a bath but she smiles so big for him when he makes faces for her. She is a very content baby, she loves to just sit in her bouncer and look around at everything and study what's around her.
On September 25th we celebrated Todd's 27th birthday. We went to dinner at P.F. Changs with a bunch of family and friends. We sat outside and we had a really nice time. I was so excited for Todd to see the cake I got for him. It was a Laker cake and he was so surprised and loved it. I also made Cali a shirt to wear that was supposed to say "Happy Birthday Daddy" but I got wrong letters so it only said "I Love you Dad" it went with a pink tutu and Todd loved it.

Also at the end of September I took Cali to our fair with my older brother Jordan his wife Bethany and little Miss Tessa. We had so much fun looking at all the animals and eating a ton of great food. It was a little hot so Cali and Tessa ended up falling asleep pretty fast but they were so good for the few minutes that they were awake. :-)

Happy two months to this sweet little girl of mine. I love her more and more everyday and she is a wonderful baby. Todd and I are so blessed to have her in our lives. I love when she smiles at us and tries to talk to us. Time sure does fly by.

Sweetheart Tag

1. Where did you first meet? Todd and I first meet my freshmen year in college at Cal-State Northridge. Todds older brother and Todd went to one of my basketball games and after the game they came to my dorm room and I remember going outside to talk to them and seeing this really tall red headed kid.

2. What do you remember about him? I thought Todd was cute but goofy and that he would be a good friend for me. He always made me laugh and I enjoyed being around him. Todd was always up for something and I liked that about him and he was very easy going.

3.Who asked who out first? And where did you go on your first date? Todd asked me out a couple of times before I finally said yes. It took about 2 years for me to finally agree to go out with him. I was never really wanting a real relationship at the time and I was just having fun with my friends and enjoying my college experience. Todd would get mad when he asked me out and I would be like sure but the next week he found out I had another boyfriend. I'm so glad that he was patient and waited for me. When we finally did go out on our first date it was really nice, he took me to a restuarant called Paradise Cove in Malibu that is right on the water and I remember having a really good time and really starting to see Todd more than a friend and thinking to myself what a dummy I have been for not going out with him sooner.

4. What was your favorite thing to do while dating? Our favorite thing to do while dating would be to hang out with our friends and go out to do things. We would go to the beach, play basketball, beach volleyball, go skateboarding go to saddle ranch or howl at the moon with the friends. Our ritual on Sunday night would usually be Todd and myself watching a movie and having popcorn. That was something that I really loved to do with him.

5. When was your first kiss? Our first kiss is kind of quliche because it was New Years and we went out to Malibu with our friends to a party. I knew that he wanted to kiss me at mid-night and I was nervous and thinking hmmm maybe not. But when the clock struck 12 we looked at each other and kissed!!! It was great and I for sure felt the sparks flying. Then just Todd and myself went to the beach and stayed their till 4 in the morning. Which was great except I had basketball practice at 8 in the morning the next day. But, it was okay I did not mind at all.

6. Who said I love your first? I always get nervous with the I love you stage because I had a guy say it to me in like 2 weeks and it freaked me out so I really liked Todd but I didn't want him to say it to me first because I knew he loved me :-) but I just wanted to make sure I was in the right place so I wouldn't get scared off. So one night we were in my room and we were cuddling and I leaned over and whispered into his ear that I loved him and I will never ever forget the expression on his face when I told that to him.

7. When did you realize you loved him? I realized I loved Todd on a Sunday night we were watching a movie and I had this overwhelming feeling about Todd and how much I cared about him. I realized that I never wanted to be without him and I always wanted him around. It was a feeling that I never experienced before and I just wanted to tell everyone how I felt about him and I was so proud that he was mine.

8. How did he propose? Todd proposed to me in the cutest way....I knew he had my ring but I was dying for him to give it to me before I left for home for Spring Break. He took me out on a Friday night to Paradise Cove and I was thinking okay this is it because this is where we went for our first date. But, no after dinner he was like lets go to the beach for a little bit and I was like sweet its going to be on the beach. When we got to the beach he brought out a blanket and a video camera and he was like I have something for you. It was two magnatic bears that kissed and I was like nice but dissapointed because I wanted my ring! Then he was like I am going to blindfold you and take you somewhere so he took me to the cliffs that over looked the city. It was gorgeous and he was like im getting tired lets go home. I was so sad :-(. But, then he was like wait I have two more spots to take you so he blindfolded me again and took me on a ride. The next stop I remember walking in and smelling the place thinking I know this place it is very familiar. Next thing I know he takes off my blindfold and he is down on one knee in the very center of my college basketball gym. I loved it because he knew what a special place basketball had for me and basketball is what brought me to him in Northridge. Also my two best girlfriends were in the hallway waiting for us. It was a great night.

9.What do you remember most about your wedding? I loved my wedding and it was one of my best days ever. I remember nothing going wrong that day and I was just relaxed and loved being with Todd and all of our family and friends. I didn't think I could love Todd more but on that day I was even more in love and I could not wait to be a Mrs. Todd Coleman. I could not have asked for a better day. The decorations, food, cake music everything to me was magical. I remember looking at Todd during the reception and thinking that is my man forever and I could not wait for us to start our lives together.

I always think it is fun to hear peoples stories because they are all different and it lets you get to know the other couple more.

Birth Story

Thursday Night June 23rd 2011... It all started when Todd and I went to my parents house that night to go swimming and because it was summer time I wanted to float around and just relax. While I was at my parent's house I started to have mini contractions they were hurting but they were not very consistent so I didn't worry to much about them. Todd went off to play basketball at the church and I stayed behind with my mom because I didn't want to go home by myself especially since I was not feeling well. Well the contractions started coming a lot faster and more strong so we started timing them. Note I was only 38 weeks and 6 days along and every says your first baby doesn't come early..oh how wrong people are :-) By the time Todd came and picked me up it was midnight and I was hurting but I still didn't think that it was anything serious and of course I didn't want to get my hopes up that she was coming. So Todd and I were up all night with these contractions and he was doing everything possible to help me, well finally at 6 in the morning I couldn't take it anymore and I told Todd we needed to go to the hospital. When we got there and they checked me they said that I was in labor but my contractions were not strong enough and I was only dilated to a 2 so they sent me home and I was so crushed because I thought it was time and I was in terrible pain.
So we got home and called my mom to tell her false alarm so she left for the beach for the weekend because she didn't think I would be having the baby that weekend. Bad mistake :-)
Friday June 24th 2011..I come home to go lay down and try to sleep it off. By noon it still was not going away so I thought I would go try swimming again and see if that would help. My wonderful sis in law Tawnie came with me and brought me snow shack which does wonders for pregnant women in Bakersfield during the summer and we went swimming. I told her my contractions were not going away and she was like go back to the hospital because who knows you could have been progressing but I was like no I don't want to be the first time mom that goes a hundred times and always gets sent home. So finally around 8 that night I had Todd and my brother come over to give me a blessing of comfort that I may be ok and I would know when it was time to go to the hosiptal. So after they left Todd and I were trying to watch TV and sleep on the couch but I was just hurting and so frustrated that I didn't know what was going on. So around 10 that night I just started pacing the house in pain when all of a sudden my WATER BROKE!!! I started freaking out because I was so excited and I was like YES finally I know I can go to the hospital and finally have my baby girl. So I start yelling for Todd to get up and get the car seat in the car because we are having this baby!! Then I had to call my mom at the beach and tell her to turn around and come home because your granddaughter is on her way. After my water broke for some reason I was really calm I actually took a shower and took my time getting ready to leave. By the time I got to the hospital then the contractions really started taking over and I actually had a hard time walking into the emergency room. The great thing about being 9 months pregnant is that right when you walk into the emergency room they take one look at you and put you in a wheelchair and take you up to the maternity section in less than 5 minutes. It was wonderful.

June 25th 2011 So I was in my room all hooked up by midnight and I had Tawnie and Todd in the room with me because my mom was still driving back from the beach. Tawnie was amazing to have in the room because she was such a good coach while Todd was holding my hand. By 2 in the morning I told my nurse I was so ready for my epidural and she got the guy in there in less than 30 min. My nurse was amazing and helped me so much. The epidural was not as bad as I thought it would be and it does wonders to you. I was in heaven when I started to fell the effect of it. By now my mom finally got to the hospital and just in time because I was in a great mood then. By 3 am the nurse came in and told me I was 7 cm dilated..getting closer... 4 am 9 cm dilated...the nurse literally walked out of the room and I told my mom to go get her because I felt the need to start pushing. 4:20 am ready to start pushing and I was so nervous during this time. 5:06 am baby Cali Gail Coleman was here and she was music to my ears!!!

Cali Gail Coleman was born on June 25th 2011 at 5:06 a.m. She was 7lbs 3ozs and 20 and a half inches long.

Golfing

So Todd and I have Monday's off from work so we are always thinking of new things to do. Well a couple of Mondays ago Todd really wanted to go play golf and he wanted me to come with him. I was like I am almost 8 months pregnant can I still golf. Of course you can he told me, so off we went to Buena Vista to golf and we had such a great time!! I did horrible and could only go for 9 holes but I didn't think I did to bad for golfing the first time ever and being pregnant. So after this baby comes Todd and I have found another hobby that we really enjoy doing together.

Dodger Game

Todd and I were able to go to a Dodger game in April and we were so excited to go. We went with a couple of friends from church and we all drove down together. Except for the Dodgers losing it was actually a really fun time. We love doing things together before this baby comes :-)

Many Miracles

I just had to post the story about my new little niece Olivia, so sorry this might be a long post :-). On Sunday March 6 I got a phone call from my mom at 7 in the morning telling me that my brother and sis-in-law Tawnie were getting rushed to the hospital to have an emergency C-Section. Just know that she wasn't due for another 6 weeks so this baby is very early, also Tawnie had very high blood pressure and had one seizure before the baby came out so we were also very worried about Tawn Tawn. So I flew down to the hospital to wait to see what was going to happen and about 30 minutes later my brother comes out in his scrubs and says that have a beautiful baby girl OLIVIA and she is 3 lbs. 10ozs. We were so excited for them and I was so excited to have another little niece in the family.
Jake said that the baby was good and that Tawnie was doing well also. I got to go back and sit with Tawnie for a little bit while the parents got to go in and see Olivia. Now for those of you who don't know Tawnie is like a sister to me, growing up with all boys it was great when Jake married Tawnie, finally someone I can share all my secrets with and be silly with and always be there for each other. So when I saw Tawnie after the C-Secetion I was really scared, she was out of it and looked just awful (I know that you don't look great after having a baby this was different) she just looked really sick. So I talked to her for a little bit and I realized that she was just out of it and not really paying attention or making sense. After a few more minutes with Tawnie, Jake came in and grabbed me to go see Olivia in the NICU, now only grandparents and parents are allowed in the NICU but Jake told me that he "forgot" and brought me in and the nurses in there allowed me to see the baby for a few minutes. You always hear how small these babies are but once you see them in person it really hits you what a small miracle they are. When I got to see Olivia I just fell in love with her and thanked Heavenly Father over and over for this beautiful baby girl that made it into this world. She is a precious, precious baby and I am so happy to be her Aunt.
After I saw Olivia everyone was doing good so we decided to go home because there wasn't anything else we could do at the hospital. Once I got home I got a phone call from my mom at 3 and she said they are running back up to the hospital because Tawnie is having seizures again and they are rushing her up to the ICU. When my mom told me this my heart just stopped because all this time we are worried about Olivia who is just fine but now it is time to focus on Tawnie who was not doing well at all. We run back up to the hospital to see what is going on. Tawnie started having seizures again and had to stay in the ICU for about 3 days. During this time it made me so happy to have the gospel in my life to see my brother and dad and Tawnies dad go in and give her a blessing and knowing that everything was going to be okay and them doing the same thing with Olivia. Just to have the gospel in your life and to know exactly who to turn to when things are hard and difficult and knowing that he is always there for you easies my mind and heart. I am so grateful that I have a husband that can do the same thing for our family also.
Tawnie was finally able to come home from the hospital on last Saturday so she was there for 6 days. She is doing so good now but it is going to be a couple of months of recovery and little Olivia has to stay in the NICU for about 3 more weeks. Olivia is doing so good and is getting stronger and stronger everyday. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for them and wished them well I know that Tawnie and Jake have appreciated all of your help so much.

21 Weeks and we are having....

AND yes this little girl we be in Laker gear a lot..she is already a FAN!!!
Halfway done with the pregnancy and let me tell you it goes by pretty fast. Sometimes it seems really fast and sometimes it seems like forever. Still I can't wait to see this little one's cute face. Todd and I are so excited to finally figure out that we are having a baby GIRL!!! Cali Gail Coleman :-) I can't wait to spoil this little one and put her in cute clothes and tons of bows. Don't worry she will also be doing all the sports and I am sure daddy will have her in the water within the first month or so haha. Also he can't wait to take her surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding with him. Lets just say that he is ok with a girl being first his little boy will just have to come a little later.
For those of you who have been wondering I have been feeling so much better now. I finally started to feel really good around 17-18 weeks being pregnant. My appetite is back in full force and I have so much more energy and I am finally loving being pregnant. I know some of you have been asking for a belly picture and I will be posting one soon. Just waiting for the belly to get a little bigger :-)

First Urgent Care Trip

So this precious little one is already causing me problems. Like everyone says they start young I guess. So on Tuesday morning Todd and I were at the beach with my parents and we had to come home early Tuesday morning to come back to work. So we left the beach at 6 in the morning and we didn't even make it out of the parking lot before I had to throw up. NOT FUN. So then I slept for two hours and right when we pulled into our driveway I was lucky enough to throw up again. I was getting upset because their was nothing in my stomach to throw up so it was not a fun feeling. I have had morning sickness before but I usually just throw up once and I feel better. Well this day decides to be different.
So while Todd is in the office working I am laying down to get some rest and of course I get to throw up again. My nice hubby makes me some soup and I sip on it and eat some crackers but thirty min later it is all up again. By this time I am getting worried because my stomach is just in so much pain and not just the regular sick pain but something is wrong. So I contact my nurse to talk to them and they want me to go to the urgent care to get checked out. In my head I am like hmmm is it worth it to go or should I wait it out. I hate going to urgent care because it always takes forever. But I thought of my baby and I wanted to make sure everything was all right with it so I went. Todd was just one happy camper to go with me ;-)
So we finally get there and it takes about an hour before I go into the back and they weigh me. I get onto the scale and I have noticed I have lost 10 pounds!! I was like sweet didnt know I needed to get pregnant to lose the weight. So I ended up getting some blood work and they hooked me up to an IV to get myself hydrated again. My arms are now black and blue from all the poking but im officially not scared of needles anymore. The doctor comes in and wants to check the babies heartbeat to make sure it is ok and that was so nice to be able to hear my baby again and yes it brought tears to my eyes again. Then the doctor was like ok I want to check your cervics to make sure it is closed and not open cause if it is open then you are pretty much going to have a miscarriage. UGH OK way to freak a mother out dude!!! But everything was A okay.
Then the doctor wanted me to talk to a surgeon because I was having some pain in my side and they thought it might be my appendix and when they took my blood there was a hint of infection in it. In my head I was like great you have to be kidding me. Then I got scared because even though Todd was with me my mom was two hours away and you all know you like to have your moms with you if something like this happens. (sidenote, while we were keeping my parents informed I found out later that they already have checked out of their hotel and were getting ready to come back to Bakersfield at ten at night) So finally the surgeon comes in and tells me that he doesn't want to operate on me right now (yea wasn't going to let him anyways) but he wanted to check me into the hospital for the night to give me more fluids and do some more tests and then see how I felt in the morning. Good thing Todd was with me because we helped the doctor realize that I was doing better after the fluids and anti-nasuea medicine they gave me and it would probably be better for me to sleep at home and get up in the morning and go do the more tests. Thank goodness the doctor was agreeing to this also because I did not want to spend the night in the hospital. So we are finally able to leave and by this time it is 10:30 at night and we got there around 5. Todd was so good during this time and was so sweet to me.
So the next morning I had to go in at eight and get more blood drawn and see the doctor again and everything came back good, thank goodness. The doctor told me to still be cautious of my body and to rest all day today which sounds good to me. All I know is this little one is going to get it when they are ready to come out :-) but this little is well worth it, I would do it all over again for it. :-) So hopefully no more urgent care trips for me, one was enough.

4th of July Weekend

I just love the 4th of July weekend. Their is bbq's, swimming, eating and being with family and friends. Todd and I went to Josh and Kendra's for a fun 4th of July that consisted of swimming, eating, playing volleyball, being with family and friends and of course fireworks. You know you will always have a good time at their house. On Monday the whole family went and saw the movie Eclipse together and I will just have to say this was by far the best twilight movie yet. The other two were not good to me at all so I was very happy when this one was good :-). After the movie Todd and I just hung out together and watched the office which we have now fallen in love with. It was a good weekend and can't wait to celebrate again next year.

I think we all know why most of the men are all so happy today...It's because the LAKERS won the Championship AGAIN and this time against our rival BOSTON (yes Utah fans Boston is our rival NOT YOU) so I have one happy husband and a happy family, so life will be good for awhile or at least until next season. So congratulations to our team the WORLD CHAMPIONS LOS ANGELES LAKERS!!!

So my friend Kayde a couple of weeks ago introduced me to a wonderful website named "Artscow" and now I am officially addicted to it. For those of us that have a hard time doing a scrapbook this is the website for you. It literally does it for you, all you have to do is decide what pictures you want to go in. I have already made two books for my family and it is just awesome. Stuck in Big Bear

This last weekend Todd and I were able to go to Big Bear with our good friends Jessica and Jon. All of you know how crazy the weather has been, well it just dumped tons of snow on Big Bear and they closed all the roads to get there except for one. We are all troopers because we still wanted to go. It usually takes about 3-4 hours to get there. Well lets just say we left Bakersfield at 3:30 and pulled into our lodge at 9:00 that night. There was a ton of traffic and a TON of snow, but when we finally got there and it was beautiful. We went snowboarding on some fresh powder, ate some yummy food and went to the spa. We all had such a good time together and it was so nice to be back with one of my best friends. Jessica and I meet in college she was the cheerleader and I was the basketball player. We hit it off right away and became good friends fast. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and is one of the most loyal and good friends you could ever have. It was so fun to be together again and get to do our girl things while the boys did their own thing. It was a short trip, but we all had a wonderful time and we can't wait to do it all over again.

NAPA BOUND

Todd and I were lucky enough to go to Napa this last weekend to visit our good friends Rob and Nicole Fuller and little miss Scarlett. We had such a good time...we played games (even though I still think Rob didn't tell us exactly how to play the first time so he could win ;-) ) ate some good food and just sat around and chitty chat. Thank you Rob and Nicole for having us and we miss you guys and we can't wait to see you again. Nicole I need that picture you took of us with Scarlett :-)

Falling Snow in Mammoth

So for the Thanksgiving holiday my parents were wonderful enough to rent a condo in Mammoth for all of us to come and play. Todd and I were so excited to go because we finally get to snowboard. We have been looking forward to snowboard season since June :-). Both of my brothers and their wives were able to come also, so it was so nice to have all of the family there. Basically all we did was eat, watch movies, played games, went to the spa, snowboard, laughed and had an amazing time. We got there on Wednesday and the weather was not bad at all so we were not expecting snow. Then on Friday evening the snow started to fall and did NOT stop until Saturday night. So when Todd, myself, Jake and Tawnie went to snowboard on Saturday we had some wonderful snow to play in which you will be able to see on the pictures. Todd was such a good sport about snowboarding with us because he is really good and can do all the tricks and jumps in the park....but he was nice and stayed with us and taught Jake and tawnie...what a good man :-)...We both had a wonderful time and we were asking the parents to make it a tradition every other Thanksgiving to go back to Mammoth and I think that they agreed. :-)

My mom was so excited that it finally snowed for her...that is all she wanted when we went to Mammoth.

I know I haven't posted in awhile (sorry) but I am in love with the new show GLEE! I love the songs they sing on the show and yes all the characters are real singers! Here is one of my favorite songs they sang on the last episode its called 'Defying Gravity' from the musical Wicked and my favorite character sings the song. Enjoy!

On August 11th it was Todd and mine 2 year anniversary. We took a wonderful trip together and had so much fun. I just wanted to tell my hubby how much I love him and how happy he has made me these two years. We have had so many wonderful time and memories together and I already know that there is much more to come. I am so grateful that I am married to you for time and all eternity!!! LOVE YOU

Flaming Gorge Camping

So this past weekend Todd and I were able to drive up to Utah to visit Todd's family and we went camping at Flaming Gorge. For those of you who know me you know that I have a hard time camping and of course it rained on us the very first night that we were there. But, it was a great time, we loved making s'mores, going swimming in the freezing lake. We took our pups with us and they did an amazing job and didn't give us any problems at all :-). Todd and I had such a good time seeing everyone and we sure do miss you guys a lot.

I know as always I am a late with my posting..I took this video of my cousin mother in law because she has a son in the armed forces as I am sure we all know someone who is in the armed forces. I just want to say THANK YOU for all those who go out and keep our country safe and protected. I love America and I am so blessed to live here. Mini Triathalon!!

On Memorial Day Todd did a mini triathalon with my sis in law and cousins. You had to swim 30 laps then do a 14 mile bike ride then a 3 mile running course. It was in Fountain Valley but we went up the day before and stayed in this beautiful Hyatt in Newport. Now Todd did not train AT ALL for this race he just wanted to do it. So hear I am thinking oh my gosh you are going to die doing this, so I have to go and watch and take care of you. Lo and behold my hubby kicked some major booty. I could not believe it he did awesome. :-) What a stinker don't you just hate when people can do things like that when I would have to train for months in advance to even finish the stinkin race haha. My cousin Allie kicked some major booty and beat everyone I was so proud of her. We had a great time being in beautiful weather and having fun with family. There will for sure be pictures posted shortly.

I know that this is late but I wanted to wish my mama a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! To me she is the best person in the world..not only my mom but my best friend too. I am so blessed to have an amazing mom. HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY MISS SYDNEY!!!! Todd and I went over to the Hubbles the other night to see Syd celebrate her 13th birthday...she is a teenager now :-(...she is a wonderful and beautiful person and might I add that she kicks butt in soccer I see a future college player :-). Todd and I love going over to Josh's and Kendra's to hang out and goof around. We love all their kids and love being around them and yes we are related :-). I can't believe my little cousins are growing up so fast. Also Todd thinks that Kendra is his second wife haha. We love you guys and thanks for putting up with us :-)

I just wanted to tell my favorite boys how much I LOVE THEM and I am so grateful to have them in my life. My older brothers have always been there for me and helped me whenever I needed them. Also thank you to my hubby for helping me get through my senior year in college and coming to all of my basketball games. This picture was taken on my senior night for college and what great guys to dress up and act crazy at my game :-) Thank you for all that you do and always being there for me I LOVE YOU GUYS and remember FIGHT ON!! :-)

HAPPY EASTER

With Easter just around the corner it got me thinking of the true meaning of easter and what it really stands for. It is always great to have the candy and to see the children running around looking for easter eggs I always loved to do that as a kid, but now that I am older I like to look at the deeper meaning of easter and that has to do with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the tremendous sacrifice that he did for all of us. When I think about our savior and what he had to go through during this time it makes me love him and thank him so much for all that he has done. What a wonderful example he was and an amazing big brother. I hope that everyone has a wonderful easter but just take a moment and remember the true meaning of easter :-)..I love all you guys!!!

So we have our two puppies Machado and Commador. Commador got into Todds little paint supply so Todd thought it would be funny to paint him. We sure do love our pups but sometimes they can sure be a handful. I guess it is just getting us ready for the kids.

Big Bear Fun

This past weekend Todd and I went up to Big Bear for some snowboarding. I was excited to go but I have only been snowboarding once before and that was with Todd trying to give me lessons so I am sure you all know how that went. We went up to our hotel which was the Lagonita Lodge that Todds parents have a time share with and for some reason they gave us a 2 bedroom room just for Todd and myself. The place was huge Todd and I were dying laughing because it was just so big and there was only two of us. We sure wished some friends came with us. The next morning we got up to go snowboarding and I had my first lessons. It was so much fun I am now officially addicted to snowboarding I love it. Todd is already really good at it so I am glad that I love it too. It is always fun to do something with your husband that you both enjoy to do. After my lesson I thought I was pretty good so I wanted to go on a big lift with Todd...haha not a good idea. It took me about 30 minutes to get down that hill and Todd was such a good sport about it. He didn't leave me once and was very patient and always helping me out, what a good husband :-). But, me being stubborn I wanted to try it again and I finally did it!! We can't wait to go snowboarding again to bad winter is basically over with :-(. But we had a great time together and are officially in love with the sport.

1. Where did you first meet? Todd and I first meet my freshmen year in college at Cal-State Northridge. Todds older brother and Todd went to one of my basketball games and after the game they came to my dorm room and I remember going outside to talk to them and seeing this really tall red headed kid.
2. What do you remember about him? I thought Todd was cute but goofy and that he would be a good friend for me. He always made me laugh and I enjoyed being around him. Todd was always up for something and I liked that about him and he was very easy going.
3.Who asked who out first? And where did you go on your first date? Todd asked me out a couple of times before I finally said yes. It took about 2 years for me to finally agree to go out with him. I was never really wanting a real relationship at the time and I was just having fun with my friends and enjoying my college experience. Todd would get mad when he asked me out and I would be like sure but the next week he found out I had another boyfriend. I'm so glad that he was patient and waited for me. When we finally did go out on our first date it was really nice, he took me to a restuarant called Paradise Cove in Malibu that is right on the water and I remember having a really good time and really starting to see Todd more than a friend and thinking to myself what a dummy I have been for not going out with him sooner.
4. What was your favorite thing to do while dating? Our favorite thing to do while dating would be to hang out with our friends and go out to do things. We would go to the beach, play basketball, beach volleyball, go skateboarding go to saddle ranch or howl at the moon with the friends. Our ritual on Sunday night would usually be Todd and myself watching a movie and having popcorn. That was something that I really loved to do with him.
5. When was your first kiss? Our first kiss is kind of quliche because it was New Years and we went out to Malibu with our friends to a party. I knew that he wanted to kiss me at mid-night and I was nervous and thinking hmmm maybe not. But when the clock struck 12 we looked at each other and kissed!!! It was great and I for sure felt the sparks flying. Then just Todd and myself went to the beach and stayed their till 4 in the morning. Which was great except I had basketball practice at 8 in the morning the next day. But, it was okay I did not mind at all.
6. Who said I love your first? I always get nervous with the I love you stage because I had a guy say it to me in like 2 weeks and it freaked me out so I really liked Todd but I didn't want him to say it to me first because I knew he loved me :-) but I just wanted to make sure I was in the right place so I wouldn't get scared off. So one night we were in my room and we were cuddling and I leaned over and whispered into his ear that I loved him and I will never ever forget the expression on his face when I told that to him.
7. When did you realize you loved him? I realized I loved Todd on a Sunday night we were watching a movie and I had this overwhelming feeling about Todd and how much I cared about him. I realized that I never wanted to be without him and I always wanted him around. It was a feeling that I never experienced before and I just wanted to tell everyone how I felt about him and I was so proud that he was mine.
8. How did he propose? Todd proposed to me in the cutest way....I knew he had my ring but I was dying for him to give it to me before I left for home for Spring Break. He took me out on a Friday night to Paradise Cove and I was thinking okay this is it because this is where we went for our first date. But, no after dinner he was like lets go to the beach for a little bit and I was like sweet its going to be on the beach. When we got to the beach he brought out a blanket and a video camera and he was like I have something for you. It was two magnatic bears that kissed and I was like nice but dissapointed because I wanted my ring! Then he was like I am going to blindfold you and take you somewhere so he took me to the cliffs that over looked the city. It was gorgeous and he was like im getting tired lets go home. I was so sad :-(. But, then he was like wait I have two more spots to take you so he blindfolded me again and took me on a ride. The next stop I remember walking in and smelling the place thinking I know this place it is very familiar. Next thing I know he takes off my blindfold and he is down on one knee in the very center of my college basketball gym. I loved it because he knew what a special place basketball had for me and basketball is what brought me to him in Northridge. Also my two best girlfriends were in the hallway waiting for us. It was a great night.
9.What do you remember most about your wedding? I loved my wedding and it was one of my best days ever. I remember nothing going wrong that day and I was just relaxed and loved being with Todd and all of our family and friends. I didn't think I could love Todd more but on that day I was even more in love and I could not wait to be a Mrs. Todd Coleman. I could not have asked for a better day. The decorations, food, cake music everything to me was magical. I remember looking at Todd during the reception and thinking that is my man forever and I could not wait for us to start our lives together.
I always think it is fun to hear peoples stories because they are all different and it lets you get to know the other couple more.
